Katie + Steven’s Whimsical Garden Wedding
Katie + Steven’s wedding was a feminine, romantic, and thoroughly pampas grass infused masterpiece led by Eric Acuna of Leilani Weddings and featured on Festival Brides! Held at one of our favorite garden venues – Franciscan Gardens, the decor mixed modern and vintage chic to create a timeless yet whimsical vibe.
The circular wedding arch of pampas grass, foliage, and roses in dusty pastels was undoubtedly the signature piece of the event – setting the tone of the wedding with dramatic flourish. But the bridal bouquet had to come in a close second! Mad props to Katie for not being afraid to rock a huge statement bouquet – a dreamy confection that played to the bride’s love of pampas.
We are also fans of reception wardrobe changes, and were delighted that Katie chose two different dresses for her wedding – a ceremony gown from Hayley Paige (bought at Blush Bridal Couture) and a simple, elegant number by Grace Loves Lace – the wedding dress designer she has idolized for years! The contrasting styles of both gown designs allowed the bride to show different facets of her personality throughout her big day.
Other details to remember include the oh-so-pretty dessert spread styled on vintage furniture pieces and the adorable vintage VW photo bus!
