Our good friend, the uber-talented + super sweet Amanda James recently came out with hew collection + it is simply to die for, Amanda has always been known for her girly + ethereal designs, chic bridal jumpsuits (yes, you read that right!) and She is the queen of mixing sophistication with whimsy, and this collection does not fall short of that one bit.
Her new Elated Love Collection is “a collection dedicated to all the brides determined to let their love shine, 2020 be damned.” Preach sister, preach.

CAPES + CAPELETS
The capes + capelets in this new collection are seriously stunning! Soft, chic + romantic, these options are perfect to complete your wedding ceremony ensemble, or effortlessly tossed over a simple dress for your reception to switch up your look. Another option is to wear a capelet for your morning or afternoon ceremony + portraits to follow, then switching it out for a floor-length cape for some added drama in the evening. The delicate floral appliques she added to some of these are so cute, and the beading work on others is exquisite.
PANTSUITS + SHORTS
We were actually introduced to the bridal pantsuit a few years ago when we first met Amanda, but a Bridal PLAYSUIT!? Sign. Us Up. This modern take on a bridal look has us swooning. Pockets, perfect tailoring, and playful ~ need we say more? The lace on the playsuit is so girly + fun, and perfect for a courthouse wedding or civil ceremony. Having a more traditional microwedding? We always love the idea of a costume change on your wedding day, so consider changing into a pantsuit after the formalities are over + the dance party begins. One of her capes would even be so pretty to add to the shorts as a fun + dramatic accent.
SLEEVES
A dramatic sleeve is one of our all-time favorite things in fashion, whether it be on the streets or at the altar, and this collection boasts some of the most noteworthy dramatic sleeves we’ve ever seen. Whether lace-y + billowy, silk, sheer, bell-shaped, or balletic, all of the sleeves in this collection offer a dreamy aesthetic of feminine loveliness that is signature to all of Amanda’s designs. SWOON!
MASKS
Arguably the most important accessory on your wedding day is that mask to keep you + your guests safe. We love that Amanda designed these as a classy, yet integral part of being a 2020 bride, and are obsessing over how each one is designed in detail + vary in style, fabric + design. Beaded, embroidered, lace or applique, these masks are handmade with love by artist & designer Debra Weiss. Once Amanda + her team receive the cut + sewn masks from Debra, their expert hand beading + embroidery seamstresses complete the process. Fun fact: They can use the same embellishment as your gown, and can also embroider names, dates or motifs!
